Two lively, very colourful sculptural art benches for a recreational centre. Both benches are mirror images of each other. Goal was to represent the diverse cultural community who use the leisure centre and to celebrate the leisure centres' role in the community which is to bring art, sport, culture and learning together. Patterns and motifs suggest dynamic movement, activity. There are other hidden symbols and motifs recognizable by cultural groups. The center also has a wave pool and slide, reference is made to these in the form of the wave and spiral with ball.
