A commemorative piece to remember a community’s response to the Covid 19 pandemic. A coming together to share stories of wellness, recovery and resilience was the goal of this project. A circular arrangement of forms represents diplomacy, equality and democracy. The arrangement of seating with tabletop metaphorically represents community cohesiveness and togetherness. The hardness and weightiness of the concrete table alludes to ideas of strength and resilience.
